Stone Dog Inn is owned and operated by Nikki Brey Ribeiro, an avid dog lover with years of experience in the field of animal care. After graduating from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Sociology, Nikki decided to follow her passion of working with animals. Nikki worked in the pet care industry as a Dog Walker, Animal Shelter Volunteer, Groomer, and Veterinarian Technician before deciding to open a cage-free alternative to dog boarding.

As well as being knowledgeable in animal medicine, Nikki is certified in Pet First Aid, CPR and the behavior management of dogs and cats.

At Stone Dog Inn, Nikki personally cares for each and every dog and ensures their safety and comfort under 24-hour supervision. She is the proud mum of her six year old Siberian Husky, Toby, a one year old Bernese Mountain Dog, Lily and two dog friendly cats, Nauset and Puddy.
